Days 37, 38, 39, 40 and 41 of #100HappyDays

Apesar de não ter vindo aqui ultimamente, admito que é verdade! Inconscientemente, nestas últimas semanas, ao final do dia, encontro sempre o que me fez feliz. Sem sequer pensar que tinha de vir ao blogue para cumprir com os dias. A verdade é que devia de ter vindo aqui escrever e pôr a fotografia alusiva a esse momento do dia, mas todos nós sabemos que o fica para o "amanhã", fica na realidade para a semana, ou para a outra. Já está a passar demasiados dias sem cá vir e sinto essa falta, ainda para mais com tanto para partilhar. Para não faltar muito, vou continuar a partir do 36º dia, fazendo desde esta semana que passou, pois o objectivo é mesmo "100 dias"!

It has been ages since I have written and I must apologize. But it's true, the "100 Happy Days" definitely works: unconsciously, these past few weeks, at the end of the day, I knew what made ​​me happy and I appreciate it. Without even thinking that I had to blog it. 

I've so much to share and this week I'll write about Luxembourg and Belgium. But now, I'll continue from the day 36th, so I can keep the objective: "100 days"!

Apesar de ter estado um dia nublado, esta vista sobre o funchal é simplesmente deslumbrante. As árvores com os tons roxos dão uma luz incrível à cidade. Esta senhora estava a ver a vista durante um bom tempo e sem ela saber, tirei a foto mesmo ela lá estando! Acho que por estar no centro da fotografia, atenta ao que lhe rodeia, eu gostei ainda mais da foto! 

Despite being a cloudy day, this Funchal view over Funchal is simply stunning. Those trees with purple tones gives a great light to this amazing city. This lady was appreciating the landscape, so I took this photo without her knowing. When I got home and saw the photo, I loved it! Great views makes me happy.

Day 23 of #100HappyDays

Sábado à noite foi dia de fazer pizza caseira. Além de ser mais saudável (vamos tentar enganar isto ao máximo), o sabor é completamente diferente daquelas que compramos. A massa é feita num instante na Bimby e depois é só ser criativos.

Saturday night is a perfect day to homemade pizza. Besides being healthier, the taste is completely different from most pizzerias. 
The pizza dough is made in an instant using the Thermomix, and then you just have to be creative.

This week will be a special one! I'll have to put all #100happydays photos of this week, all together in just one post. So, here are my happy moments since last sunday:

Domingo foi passado a ver carros clássicos. Além de estar um dia magnifico, e isso podem ver pelas fotos, o ambiente estava fantástico. A organização mais uma vez esteve de parabéns! Foi uma hora bem passada e fez-me feliz!

The beautiful sunny Sunday I went to see a beautiful exhibition of classic cars. The atmosphere was fantastic. They had "models" wearing vintage classic clothes there! Great touch! The organization was once again amazing! It was a very well spent hour and it made me happy!

Day 18 of #100HappyDays

Foi o momento mais alto da semana, sem dúvida! Tantos anos depois, vi pela primeira o vídeo do meu baptizado! É verdade, já andava ;) Foi emocionante rever tantas pessoas e conferir que afinal este dia foi mesmo feliz! No fim, é isto que realmente importa!

It was the high point of the week! No doubt! So many years later, I finally saw the video of my baptism! It was so exciting to see so many people and hearing their voices! Now I know that it was, indeed, a really happy day!!
In the end, that's what really matters!

Chegar a casa e descobrir que os morangos já  estão perfeitos e prontos para serem saboreados!! 

Getting home and discover that the strawberries are perfect and ready to be enjoyed! They look amazing, don't they? :)

Day 14, 15 and 16 of #100HappyDays: Food

Comida! Nesta última quinta-feira e sexta-feira os dias estavam maravilhosos, tal como toda a semana.  A primeira foto é do meu almoço que estava delicioso e saudável.

A segunda foto é do lanche das 18h que simplesmente adoro! Estas tostas mistas especiais são divinais e para mim até dá perfeitamente para uma refeição! Sem dúvida que é um bom lugar para ir depois do trabalho! Obrigada P. ;) 
A terceira é referente a Sábado, e foi este cachorro quente num dos mais conhecidos pub's da Madeira. Apesar de estar bom, e estava, é pena ter de esperar 45 minutos (!) pelo comer, mas valeu a pena pelo tempo passado com a família num sábado à noite. 

Food! Last Thursday and Friday, the weather was fantastic, has has been all week long. The first photo, 

thursday's lunch, which was delicious and so healthy. Perfect for a break of a day at the office.

The second photo, was my "afternoon snack"! These special sandwiches are divine and the place is cozy!! No doubt that is a good place to go after work! So, thank you P! ;)
The third photo was saturdays' dinner: a hot dog in one of the most popular pub's in  Madeira. Despite being good, and it was, it's a shame that we had to wait 45 minutes (!)! To much time! But, it were a 45 minutes well spent with family on a Saturday evening.

Day 12 of #100HappyDays: Flowers

Este fim-de-semana foi mais uma época alta para o turismo na Madeira! Não é de estranhar, porque são os dias onde as figuras principais são as flores! As nossas flores! O Funchal esteve recheado com as mais diversas flores, e passear hoje pelas ruas da cidade e ver estas cores, ainda para mais com um dia digno de Verão, de certeza que me fez feliz!

This weekend was very important for Madeira! The main characters were the amazing and beautiful flowers! Our flowers! It's a fantastic time of the year to visit Funchal! There is so much to see and do! It's definitely a great time to walk in Funchal, because it's full of flowers and happiness. Seeing all those colors, certainly made ​​me happy today!

Day 10 of #100HappyDays: Market

Ir ao mercado no domingo sempre faz parte da tradição. Aproveitar as manhãs do fim-de-semana para ir comprar produtos regionais, desde limões, brócolos, couves, batatas (…) é sempre vantajoso. Além de ter preços mais generosos, a qualidade é, geralmente, muito melhor do que nos supermercados. Sem conservantes nem corantes, uma ida ao mercado regional, também faz-me feliz.

Going to the market on Sunday, has always been part of the tradition. Enjoying a walk in a Food Market, can be very productive, specially on weekends. Buying regional products, from lemons, broccoli, cabbages, potatoes, tomatoes, (…), has great advantageous. Besides being more affordable,  the quality is usually great. It's a fantastic way to buy healthy and natural food, and help local economy.

Day 2 of #100HappyDays

Não há nada melhor do que passar boas horas com a companhia da família e amigos num sábado primaveril. Na Madeira, se esse momento for acompanhado com uma poncha, ainda melhor! 

There is nothing better than spend a saturday day with family and friends. In Madeira, if we drink a Poncha (the regional drink), that moment will be even better!

Fantastic Summer!

Olá! Como foi o vosso verão? O meu foi recheado de boas praias, bons cafés e deliciosos gelados, divertidas festas de verão e bons serões ao fim da tarde. Claro, além da maravilhosa viagem pelo Báltico que fiz em Julho, que ainda vou vos mostrar mais.

Hello! How was your summer? Mine was filled with good beaches, good coffee and delicious ice creams. Also, I had fun summer parties and great sunsets. Of course, the cherry was the wonderful trip through the Baltic, that I will show you more asap.

Sei que este post já vem com umas semanas de atraso mas este Natal foi tão bom que mal tive tempo de vir ao blogue, mas não me esqueci de vocês. Ainda esta semana vou pôr todas as fotografias.
Desde as missas do parto; aos lanches e jantares com a família e amigos; a Noite do Mercado no Funchal a cantar as músicas de natal com centenas de pessoas; a noite de Natal a tirar fotos de família durante a madrugada; ao fim-do-ano divertido; até à Noite dos Reis... a Madeira tem um encanto especial nesta altura. As fotografias são uma pequena representação da magia que é esta época cá. Têm de cá vir ;)

I know that this post is a few weeks late, but this Christmas was so good I barely had time to come here. But I have not forgotten you and I thank you so much for your lovely comments. Later this week I'll post all the photos that we have prepared for you.
We had so many great things to do this holidays! It were the "Missas do Parto"- masses at 6am; coffes and dinners with family and friends; the Market night, "Noite do Mercado" in Funchal where hundreds of people sing all together christmas songs; the Christmas night, taking family pictures at 4am; the great new years party; the evening of 5 to 6 where we celebrate "noite dos reis"... Well, Madeira has a special charm this time of the year. These photos are a small representation of the magic that we feel this season. You must come here;)

Bem-vindo Dezembro! O mês das festas, da alegria e da família. Com um ano tão amargurado pelas notícias negativas nada melhor do que relembrar os verdadeiros valores. É um mês de enviar mensagens e telefonarmos a amigos, reunir com a família e cumprir todas a tradições culturais. Na Madeira temos muitas tradições e todas elas são divertidas, entre amigos e familiares, e com muita e boa comida. Este mês irei vos falar sobre essas tradições e trazer-vos comigo a passear pela ilha. Espero que me acompanhem sempre.

It's with a great happiness that I welcome December! The month of festivities, joy and family. With one year so embittered by the negative news, nothing is better than remembering the true values​​. This month is the one that we must send messages and call friends, gather with family and fulfill all the cultural traditions. Here in Madeira (Portugal) we have many traditions and all of them are among friends and family, and with great and good food. Eu ia começar a escrever sobre Holanda mas antes disso há um lugar obrigatório de que ainda não vos falei. A ilha da Madeira (Portugal) é um paraíso no Atlântico. Com as suas paisagens encantadoras, gastronomia deliciosa e com uma cultura inconfundível, Madeira é um destino que tem de ser visitado! A vantagem de viajar é, em outras, dar valor ao que temos e é sempre bom voltar para um lugar que nos faz tão feliz. Vejam o próximo vídeo onde um turista francês captou excelentemente a ilha. Espero que assim conheçam um pouco mais da ilha. Brevemente irei vos falar mais desta Região.

I was going to start writing about Holland but not before mentioning the most important place: Madeira. Madeira (Portugal) is a paradise in the Atlantic. With its beautiful landscapes, delicious cuisine and unique culture, Madeira is a destination that must be visited! The advantage of traveling is also to value what we already have. It's always nice to return to a place that makes us so happy. Watch the next video that a french turist did and it's amazing. Hopefully you will get to learn a little bit more about the island. Soon, I'll write more about it.
