Outra excelente maneira de manter a boa forma física é praticar um desporto do qual gostamos muito. Já vos falei da corrida, que é dos meus exercícios preferidos, mas também não posso esquecer do ténis. É dos melhores desportos que podemos praticar. Além de ser muito exigente é divertido, pelo menos para mim. Costumam jogar?

Fica aqui algumas ideias de equipamento que podemos usar neste desporto.

Another excellent way to keep in shape is to practice a sport that you love. A few days ago I told you about running but this time I'll only talk about tennis. It's one of the best sports that you can practice. As I mentioned before, I used to have tennis classes and I spent one year without playing it. But it's like running a bicycle - you never forget how to do it. Although it can be very stressful sometimes. One day everything is perfect and then you go play again and it's like you never done it before. You just have to go again and have fun. Do you usually play?

Here are some ideas of clothing that we can use in this sport.

Definitivamente que os Óscares é das minhas preferidas e das mais antecipadas noites do ano. Desde os meus doze anos que não me importo de dormir poucas horas e adoro cada momento da gala. Desde o Tapete Vermelho para ver o glamour da noite mais importante do cinema até aos últimos minutos, aqueles em que se sabe qual é o vencedor do Melhor Filme. 
Este ano tem tudo o que é preciso para ser uma excelente gala: bons filmes, bons actores e um apresentador promissor. Pelo menos, do que depender de tudo o que ele já fez de inovador, podemos esperar uma gala muito agradável e "mazinha". 
Tenho a minha lista já preenchida com as minhas apostas. Desde Argo para melhor filme, Daniel Day-Lewis para melhor actor, Jessica Chastain para melhor actriz, Christoph Waltz (tem de ganhar!) para melhor actor secundário, Anne Hathaway para melhor actriz secundária e Ang Lee como Melhor Realizador. 

E vocês, quais são as vossas apostas? O que mais gostam de ver nesta noite?

Definitely that the Oscars are one of my favorite and most anticipated nights of the year. Since I was twelve I do not mind sleeping just a few hours. I love every second of the award show. From the Red Carpet, to see all the glamor, to the last minutes to know who is the winner of the Best Picture.
This year has everything it takes to be a great gala: good movies, good actors and a great host. At least I imagine it so. Since Seth is the mind behind Family Guy, we can expect a very enjoyable gala and "mean" one.I have already filled my list with my picks: Argo for Best Picture, Daniel Day-Lewis for Best Actor in a Leading Role, Jessica Chastain for Best Actress in a Leading role, Christoph Waltz (he must win) for Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Anne Hathaway for Best Actress in a Supporting Role and Ang Lee for Best Director.

P.S- Well, It was Jennifer Lawrence and not Jessica... I didn't loved Silver Linings Playbook so I don't agree, at all, with this Oscar. It should've been Jessica or Noami Watts. Afterwall, it was a great night!

Podemos encontrar online muita variedade de equipamento para praticar desporto. O mais importante no momento da compra é procupar o mais adequado para nós. Cada um tem o seu modelo de calças que lhe dá mais conforto, tal como as camisolas, por isso devemos de procurar aquelas que se ajustam melhor ao exercício. Os running shoes têm de ser bem escolhidos e há nas lojas de desporto quem vos possa ajudar a encontrar os melhores para vocês. 
Se nos sentirmos bem com o que temos vestidos, o exercício vai ser ainda melhor. 

We can find online great fitness equipment. The most important when buying is to choose the right clothes and shoes. We have to find the most comfortable and flexible pants to wear. You just have look up for your favorite one. The running shoes must be well chosen and there are experts in sports shops who can help you to find the best for you. 
If we feel good about what we have dress, the workout will be better.

Uma das resoluções que são sempre feitas quando um ano novo começa é de certeza "praticar mais desporto". Essa foi uma das minhas principais resoluções no ano passado e consegui manter o bom hábito. Este ano tenho de continuar com o bom ritmo e pôr novos objectivos nas minhas corridas. Desde a Universidade que correr era a melhor opção para descontrair, melhorar a minha forma física e aproveitar as excelentes paisagens que temos. Nos dois dias por semana que não tinha ténis, aproveitava para correr com as minhas amigas no parque da cidade. Excelentes memórias que guardo desses dias.
Agora na minha cidade corro três vezes por semana, cerca de 7km por dia. Não tenho muitos cuidados como deveria de ter; como meias específicas para corridas, mas espero ainda nos próximos tempos adquirir umas boas. Não dispenso bons running shoes, roupa confortável e, claro, boa música. Neste momento os meus objectivos de corrida passam por melhor o meu tempo. E vocês, o que têm planeado para os próximos tempos a nível de desporto?


There is always on resolution that everyone does  when a new year begins: "get in shape", "healthy eating" and "do more workouts". That was one of my main resolutions last year and I actually managed to keep the good habit. This year I'm trying keep up with my rhythm and set new goals while running. 
Since University, runnig was the best option to relax, improve my fitness and enjoy the great landscapes that we have. I praticed tennis for three days a week and the two days off  I used to run with my friends in the city park. I've great memories of those days.
Now in my town I run three times a week, about 7km per day. It's a great way to stay in shape and clear my mind. You just have to invest in good running shoes, comfortable clothing, and of course, good music. Right now my goals are to improve my time and add 2km. And you, what will be your secret to stay in shape?

Sei que este post já vem com umas semanas de atraso mas este Natal foi tão bom que mal tive tempo de vir ao blogue, mas não me esqueci de vocês. Ainda esta semana vou pôr todas as fotografias.
Desde as missas do parto; aos lanches e jantares com a família e amigos; a Noite do Mercado no Funchal a cantar as músicas de natal com centenas de pessoas; a noite de Natal a tirar fotos de família durante a madrugada; ao fim-do-ano divertido; até à Noite dos Reis... a Madeira tem um encanto especial nesta altura. As fotografias são uma pequena representação da magia que é esta época cá. Têm de cá vir ;)

I know that this post is a few weeks late, but this Christmas was so good I barely had time to come here. But I have not forgotten you and I thank you so much for your lovely comments. Later this week I'll post all the photos that we have prepared for you.
We had so many great things to do this holidays! It were the "Missas do Parto"- masses at 6am; coffes and dinners with family and friends; the Market night, "Noite do Mercado" in Funchal where hundreds of people sing all together christmas songs; the Christmas night, taking family pictures at 4am; the great new years party; the evening of 5 to 6 where we celebrate "noite dos reis"... Well, Madeira has a special charm this time of the year. These photos are a small representation of the magic that we feel this season. You must come here;)

Na Madeira temos muitas tradições e todas elas são divertidas, entre amigos e familiares, e com muita e boa comida. Here in Madeira (Portugal) we have many traditions and all of them are among friends and family, and with great and good food.
