Sigulda é uma cidade na região de Vidzeme na Letónia, a 53 km da capital, Riga e está está situado no vale Gauja. Devido às suas cores, é conhecido por ser a "Suíça do Vidzeme". Não é para menos que o jornal The Guardian recomenda Sigulda como o top destino de outono. Acredito que deve ser realmente lindo ver os vales com todas as suas árvores com as cores desta estação. Aconselho que passem aqui pelo menos um dia e mesmo assim é pouco porque não conesguimos ver tudo o que queríamos. Há muito por ver e aproveitar. E não podemos esquecer de visitar os espaços naturais, como a Gruta Gutman, a Cave de Pedro, a Rocha do Diabo e a gruta, a encosta do Paraíso. Podem caminhar para visitar estas atracções, apesar de ainda ser um pouco distante, como podem ir de carro até à maioria delas. Assim é mais rápido e confortável. Há sempre muitas actividades nesta zona e para todas as estações do ano! Podem visitar o site do Turismo de Sigulda e escolherem a melhor altura para irem. Para quem gosta de história, natureza, desportos radicais e aventura, Sigulda é um bom destino.

Sigulda is a town in Vidzeme region in Latvia, 53 km from the capital, Riga. Sigulda is situated in the valley of Gauja. It's known to be the "Switzerland of Vidzeme". Even the newspaper The Guardian recommends Sigulda as the top destination for fall. I believe it should be really beautiful to see the valley with all its trees with the colors of this season. In my opinion, you should at least spend a day here. Although one is not enough, we had so much more to see but we had to go. There is a lot to explore and enjoy: Livonian Order Sigulda Castle, The new castel of Sigulda and the manor center, Turaida Medieval Castle, Krimulda Medieval Castle, Krimulda Manor, The White Castle an Bundulïtis. We can't forget to visit the natural areas as: the Gutman's Cave, The raven's ravine and cave, Peter's Cave, Devils rock and the cave, Paradise Hill and the Emperor's Seat! You can walk to visit these attractions, though it's still a bit distant. If you have a car it's the best option, it' faster and more comfortable. For those who enjoy history, nature, sports and adventure, Sigulda is a great destination.
