Uma das resoluções que são sempre feitas quando um ano novo começa é de certeza "praticar mais desporto". Essa foi uma das minhas principais resoluções no ano passado e consegui manter o bom hábito. Este ano tenho de continuar com o bom ritmo e pôr novos objectivos nas minhas corridas. Desde a Universidade que correr era a melhor opção para descontrair, melhorar a minha forma física e aproveitar as excelentes paisagens que temos. Nos dois dias por semana que não tinha ténis, aproveitava para correr com as minhas amigas no parque da cidade. Excelentes memórias que guardo desses dias.
Agora na minha cidade corro três vezes por semana, cerca de 7km por dia. Não tenho muitos cuidados como deveria de ter; como meias específicas para corridas, mas espero ainda nos próximos tempos adquirir umas boas. Não dispenso bons running shoes, roupa confortável e, claro, boa música. Neste momento os meus objectivos de corrida passam por melhor o meu tempo. E vocês, o que têm planeado para os próximos tempos a nível de desporto?


There is always on resolution that everyone does  when a new year begins: "get in shape", "healthy eating" and "do more workouts". That was one of my main resolutions last year and I actually managed to keep the good habit. This year I'm trying keep up with my rhythm and set new goals while running. 
Since University, runnig was the best option to relax, improve my fitness and enjoy the great landscapes that we have. I praticed tennis for three days a week and the two days off  I used to run with my friends in the city park. I've great memories of those days.
Now in my town I run three times a week, about 7km per day. It's a great way to stay in shape and clear my mind. You just have to invest in good running shoes, comfortable clothing, and of course, good music. Right now my goals are to improve my time and add 2km. And you, what will be your secret to stay in shape?

Sei que este post já vem com umas semanas de atraso mas este Natal foi tão bom que mal tive tempo de vir ao blogue, mas não me esqueci de vocês. Ainda esta semana vou pôr todas as fotografias.
Desde as missas do parto; aos lanches e jantares com a família e amigos; a Noite do Mercado no Funchal a cantar as músicas de natal com centenas de pessoas; a noite de Natal a tirar fotos de família durante a madrugada; ao fim-do-ano divertido; até à Noite dos Reis... a Madeira tem um encanto especial nesta altura. As fotografias são uma pequena representação da magia que é esta época cá. Têm de cá vir ;)

I know that this post is a few weeks late, but this Christmas was so good I barely had time to come here. But I have not forgotten you and I thank you so much for your lovely comments. Later this week I'll post all the photos that we have prepared for you.
We had so many great things to do this holidays! It were the "Missas do Parto"- masses at 6am; coffes and dinners with family and friends; the Market night, "Noite do Mercado" in Funchal where hundreds of people sing all together christmas songs; the Christmas night, taking family pictures at 4am; the great new years party; the evening of 5 to 6 where we celebrate "noite dos reis"... Well, Madeira has a special charm this time of the year. These photos are a small representation of the magic that we feel this season. You must come here;)
